History Having recently celebrated its 50th year serving the Montgomery area, Harwell's Green Thumb Nursery was founded in 1955. Ben and Jimmie Harwell opened the original store near the Coliseum, and the family business has continued to grow. The current location is on the Troy Highway in Montgomery. In addition to the retail garden center, Green Thumb provides extensive landscaping services. Come visit our knowledgeable garden center professionals soon! |
